How to write a winning grant application

Does the process of applying for a government grant feel overwhelming? Would you like to maximise your chance of success, so the time you spend applying isn’t wasted?

We’ve teamed up with tender and bid writing specialists Straplan to share their insights and experience in what makes a winning application. They’ll take you through the process from A-Z, packed with tips and advice along the way.

You’ll cover:

  • What needs to go into a grant application
  • The research you need to do, including research into intellectual property, your target market, and the funders’ priorities.
  • The documents you typically need.
  • How to write a killer application.

There’ll also be the opportunity for Q&A with the trainer, Claire Pyle, Bid Manager at Straplan.

Places are limited so please only register if you’re sure you can attend, so that as many businesses as possible can benefit from this workshop.

If you register for a ticket and are subsequently unable to attend, let us know as soon as possible by contacting us by email here

We’re able to provide this event free of charge with public funding. This workshop is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Low Carbon Across the South and East (LoCASE) programme. The State aid value is approximately £200 for this workshop.
