Satellite Applications for Clean Growth event
Enterprise M3 LEP , in partnership with our South West Hub, the University of Portsmouth’s Greentech South, is holding an event on satellite application for clean growth.
The Space sector is a lynchpin of the UK’s economy, serving many sectors including the Environment, Smart cities, Agriculture, and the Telecommunications sector. New-Space has dramatically reduced barriers to entry and continues to evolve rapidly with several ‘mega-constellations’ providing services for IOT & broadband communications, continuous Earth observation (incl. radar and infrared) and asset tracking.
The event will explore how space and clean growth can help grow our economy in alignment with the UK’s plans to reach Net Zero by 2050. You’ll also learn about the support and funding that is available to help companies develop innovative new low carbon products and solutions.
